The TOFI app, an Android app is developed under the Trees Outside the Forests in India (TOFI) program, a joint initiative by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) of the Government of India.
It is a unique app that allows users to geotag trees to create a digital repository and helps in monitoring.
Soon to come the Tree Niche Modeling (suggestions to grow native tree species at a given location) and other very useful modules.TOFI app is designed to help keep track of trees and their locations.
